Privacy Policy

Ferrarelle S.p.A., considers the privacy of its Users (the “Users”) to be of fundamental importance and guarantees that the processing of personal data on the www.ferrarelle.it website (the “Site”) is undertaken in full compliance with the User’s rights, in particular reference to confidentiality, the protection of personal identity and the right to protection of personal details. To this end, Ferrarelle S.p.A., has adopted the present Privacy Policy for all pertaining to the methods of administering the Site in reference to the processing of the personal details of Users. Said Privacy Policy conforms to art. 13 of the “Code governing the protection of personal details” as per Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 (the “Code”).

1. Definition of “personal details”
For the purposes of the present Privacy Policy, the term “personal details” – as better specified in Article 4 of Legisl. Dec. no. 196 of 30 June 2003, Code governing the protection of personal details – is to be understood as “any information relative to a physical or juridical person, body or association, identified or identifiable directly or indirectly by reference to any other information, including a personal identification number”. The present Privacy Policy applies only to the Users’ personal details acquired through the Site. It does not apply to other websites owned by third parties to which access may be acquired via a link present on the Site.

2. Ownership of any data processing
The owner of any Data processing effected following consultation of the site and of any other data used for commercial activities is Ferrarelle S.p.A. with registered offices at Riardo- Caserta - Contrada Ferrarelle snc – (cap 81053).

3. Data processing bodies
The body responsible for the data processing as regards their collection, use and archival is: H-ART srl, with offices in Via Sile, 41, 31056 Roncade. Users may contact the data processing managers by registered mail with advice of receipt to exercise their rights in conformity with art. 7 of Legis. Dec. 196/2003 and thus consult, have modified or prevent their use for legitimate reasons.

4. Rights of interested parties with regard to access to personal details and other rights.
The subjects to whom the personal details refer, in accordance with art. 7 of Legis. Dec. no.196/2003, have the right at any time to obtain the confirmation or not of the existence of these details and be informed of their content and origin, verify their accuracy or ask that they be added to, updated or corrected. Moreover, they have to right to ask that said details be cancelled, transformed into an anonymous form or block any data processed in violation of the law, as well as to object to their being processed in all cases for legitimate reasons.

5. Navigation details and cookies
We wish to inform Users that during the navigation effected in connecting to our Site, so-called “session cookies” will be sent, the aim of which is temporarily to memorise generic information of use for a correct navigation of the site. Once disconnected from our site, the cookies automatically are cancelled, in no way enabling the trace and/or collection of information of a personal nature.

6. Data supplied voluntarily by the User
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of personal details via registration forms or request of goods or services by its nature requires the successive acquisition of the sender’s address, required in order to be able to respond to the request, together with any other personal details included with the correspondence. The personal details supplied will not be communicated to third parties, with exception to those undertaking activities associated with or supporting our own on our behalf.

7. Type of data processed and procedures
In its position of Owner of the Data processing, Ferrarelle S.p.A., wishes to inform Users that the personal details collected in online forms complied by the Users themselves, shall be processed in its own electronic databanks exclusively for the following purposes:

  • 1. The sending of information as specified in the request;
  • 2. The commercial promotion of products and services, including through the sending of regular newsletters;
  • 3. Communication for the same purposes as above to other outside companies employed by Ferrarelle for market research, promotions and marketing activities.

For the purposes set out in no. 1, the concession of personal details is optional, but without the User’s consent, it will not be possible to supply the services and information requested by the User for the purposes set out above and continue the navigation in the site.
For the purposes set out in nos. 2 and 3, concession of personal details is optional, but remains conditional on the explicit consent on the part of the User.
